This 20-week Preborn Girl Has Just a Few More Hours

to Find Out If West Virginia Legislators Will Do the Right Thing

5months

(Charleston-March 7, 2014)  Unborn babies in West Virginia are cheering us on, hopefully to the finish line.  Today the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, HB 4588, cleared yet another hurdle.  It went through the dreaded “Amendment stage” aka second reading on the Senate floor.  In spite of the not-so-wonderful amendments, the bill passed on second reading and without the amendments in the end.  This is the shortened version, of course.

Next it goes to the House (chamber of origin) where it is believed the Delegates will concur.  Once that takes place, the bill comes back to the Senate for a third reading and the final vote.

Wouldn’t you like to be there for this historic event?  Tomorrow is the final day of the legislative session.  West Virginians for Life Legislative Coordinator John Carey is asking you to show up in droves and fill the Senate galleries.  Wear your pro-life t-shirts so the Senators and other visitors know you’re there.  You prayed, called, emailed and shared facebook posts and tweets.  In other words, you have some ownership in this victory.  John suggests you arrive around 11:00 a.m.  Call or text him at 304-237-1803 for more information. #StopUnbornPain #HowExcitingIsThis
