WVFL President

Dear Friends,

We at West Virginians for Life deeply appreciate your commitment to the pro-life cause and your support of our work for life here in West Virginia. One of our primary goals is to educate West Virginians, including our young people.

West Virginians for Life is pleased to announce that we will, once again, hold a WVL Teen Convention concurrently with the regular convention, during the morning session of the General WVFL Convention.

We invite you to pass the word to your family and friends to invite all teens to attend this year’s convention on September 27, held at Trinity Assembly of God in Fairmont, WV. The doors will open at 9:00 a.m. for registration, and the Teen Convention will run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Teens will then join the adults for lunch and the afternoon session.

Please make use of the Teen Convention flyer. You can copy these to use in your church or place of business.

West Virginians for Life is also sponsoring the 2nd Annual Teen Essay Contest. We were very encouraged to have over 60 entries for the first contest held last year. Each student, who entered an essay for the contest, received a special Teens for Life water bottle. We are looking forward to having another successful contest this year.

Please distribute the cover letter and guidelines on the Teen Essay Contest to pastors, Christian teachers and Home School Associations. The separate return cover sheet that each contestant will use is here. We appreciate your help in recruiting teens to do this excellent pro-life educational program.

Thank you for your continuing support of West Virginians for Life pro-life work in our state.

Sincerely,

Wanda Franz, Ph.D., President

P.S. Don’t forget to REGISTER TO VOTE. Talk to your family and friends and make sure they are prepared to vote in November, which is their right and patriotic duty.
