Every four years the National Right to Life Convention is held in Washington, D.C. and that puts this wonderful pro-life educational event within driving distance for us here in West Virginia. It will be held in the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport Hotel, 13869 Park Center Road, Herndon VA, 20171, 703-478-2900. The special convention rate was $119 per night until June 20 at 1-800-445-8667. They may still offer this rate. Definitely ask.
The NRLC Convention is the premier pro-life educational event featuring three full days of workshops and speakers that educate and inspire. You may register for one day or all three. In addition to the workshops, a number of general sessions provide nationally-recognized speakers, including Guy Benson, Political Editor of Townhall.com and Fox News contributor; Bobby Schindler, Executive Director of the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network on Euthanasia; Dr. Jean Garton, pro-life writer and educator; and Mercedes Schlapp, Fox News contributor.
Some of the many topics covered by the numerous workshop speakers include: the psychological damage done to women who have abortions, the link between abortion and breast cancer, the “Will to Live” document, the danger of doctor-assisted suicide, the damage done by Obamacare and the abortion-promoting agenda of Planned Parenthood.
In addition to the main convention, there is the parallel track for the National Teens for Life Convention with many great speakers and a closing pizza banquet and dance. Registration fee for the teens is only $50.
On the Wednesday night before the main convention begins, the meeting of the Association for Interdisciplinary Research runs from 8 to 10 pm, followed by a wine and cheese gathering. This year’s program discusses the biases in the press and academic communities that suppress the truth about the damage done to women and families by abortion.
Please consider attending this great event. You can obtain more information here.
Sincerely, for life,
Wanda Franz, President
