WVFL Political Liaison

KAREN CROSS is the political director for the National Right to Life Committee. She helped to build the grassroots in West Virginia and to secure wins for President Bush in our state in 2000 and 2004. Cross, who previously served as WVFL’s executive director, came to the pro-life movement as a result of her own two abortions. Her story has been featured in USA Today, in the video Aching Heart, Too, in Life Cycle Magazine, in the magazine The Word Among Us, on the 700 Club and in various radio and TV programs and newspaper articles.
She has spoken at NRL Conventions, Rally for Life ‘90, an international abortion conference in Poland and numerous universities and colleges and has testified before the West Virginia Legislature. She serves on the board of WVFL, NRLC and Labor of Love Ministries.  As Political Director for NRLC, Karen has proven to be a force in the political realm as evidenced by the number of elections that have been successfully influenced by her work. Karen is the Political Liaison for WVFL. She has three children, a son-in-law and a grandson, Jameson.
