The West Virginians for Life 23rd Annual Rose Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, November 11 at the Holiday Inn, Pineview Drive, in Morgantown. The reception is at 6:00 p.m. and dinner begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $50 each or $1,000 for sponsoring a table of eight with other levels of sponsorship available.
This year, we will welcome Disability Rights Activist Melissa Ortiz. She has a reputation as an engaging speaker on disability issues. She has never considered herself to be a victim and spreads her message with humor. She recently finished a stint as a political appointee in the Trump Administration where she worked to promote the concept that people with disabilities need employment opportunities. It’s a wonderful opportunity to educate and inspire the people you know, who need to hear the pro-life message. Click here for a flyer with response coupon.
In preparation for the 2022 Legislative Session, hear about the Unborn Child with Down Syndrome Protection from Abortion bill, which WVFL will work toward passing. We hope you will join us in support of the rights of those with disabilities.
The purpose of the dinner is to raise money for our educational efforts. A silent auction will be available, so come prepared to bid should you see an item of interest. In addition, the dinner provides West Virginians with the opportunity to hear from speakers outside of West Virginia, to learn about the pro-life issue, to be inspired and to be encouraged to continue the fight for life. In the past, we have had many special speakers, including Cal Thomas; abortion survivor, Melissa Ohden; writer and speaker on euthanasia, Wesley Smith; and Ryan Bomberger, whose mother was raped and chose to give him life.
Thank you for your continuing support for life here in West Virginia.
